Assignment: Make a photograph of something smooth today.

Day 36: I'm Melting

Assignment: Go abstract today and make a photograph that focuses on form and color rather than detail.

I know I am focused on detail in this first photo, but I can explain.  I was thinking of what to take a picture picture of and I heard the sound of water dripping.  I looked around and realized that, even though it snowed this morning, there was interesting pictures with all this melting snow.  I just really liked the way this picture turned out.

Day 35: Deep Snow

Assignment: Create a photo today that gives a sense of depth or dimension. 

This is just the sidewalk.  You should see the piles of snow throughout the parking lot.  Taller than me. 

Day 29: Snail Mail

Assignment: Make a photograph that illustrates an aspect of communication. 

Since I was little, I have had this fascination with the mail.  I have always loved getting the mail... and getting mail... just ask my mom.  Most of the time, it's only junk and bills.  But, there is that rare moment when you get to the mailbox only to see an unexpected (or excepted, for that matter) letter or a package.  It's just FUN! With email and Facebook, it's a fading method of communication, but I still love it.  

Day 20: It's A Beautiful Day

Assignment: How low can you go? Make a photograph today from a low point of view.

Though the day started out as a wintery nightmare, it ended with beautiful blue skies and a golden sunset... glistening over a fresh coat of snow.

The next few pics were taken from inside my car behind a DIRTY windshield.  Don't find the mess.

Day 15: Lock and Key

Assignment: Make a photograph of two complementary objects arranged to show their relationship to each other. 

My favorite place to be... home! This is the sweet sound of me walking in our front door.
