Day 184: Kitty Love

Sadie is obsessed with Jonny.  I think she secretly thinks she is his girlfriend.  She will just lay there like a human and cuddle with him.  It's pretty funny.

This is Baby Audrey.  She was born on Sunday.  And I love her!!! Look at her tiny little hands.

Day 142: Strawberry Fields Forever

Do these look like heaven to you? Because they were.  Jonny and I made 200 of these today.  Absolutely delicious!

So, my high school friends can attest to this... I am BIG on layering and I always have been.  Here is my outfit today.  A black lace-lined T-shirt, followed by a Forever 21 black polka dotted T-shirt, with a grey grandpa sweater to top it off.  I'm into the layers. 

Day 119: Royal Wedding

 All of this royal wedding hype is so excited.  Kate's dress was classy, elegant and just stunning on her.  She truly looked like a Disney princess.  All this talk of weddings made me think about how much I loved my own wedding dress.  So, I dug it out, dusted it off and shot some pics of my own dress.  Secretly, I wanted to put it on again... but I don't think I'd fit into it. :)

I only had Jonny's camera tonight.  So... this is what we did.

Day 108: Drip Drop

I tried and tried and tried to take a picture of these water droplets.  After about 100 pictures, this was as close as I could get to it turning out.  Oh well.  Maybe next time.

Day 107: Mario Kart

Assignment: Make a low-key photograph today.

This may be the nerdiest post I have posted, but it doesn't even matter because we had so much fun.  Last night and tonight, we had the pleasure of playing Mario Kart with Jonny's siblings (who are in different states).  I would have never thought I would have been playing video games online... but we sure did.  It was free fun!  We just had them on the speakerphone and just had a blast "virtually" hanging out! Nerdy... but FUN FUN FUN!

After Pasta Night, Tom, Caryn and Jonny had a blast with these magnets.  And I remembered that the theme was attraction.  So, not the most interesting photo... it gets the point across.  I was tired...

This was actually yesterday's topic but since I put something else up for yesterday... and I really liked this topic, I decided to do it today.  Anyway, my mom sent me a package and it arrived today.  This is what was inside... new CLOTHES! Fun!! Who doesn't love surprise packages?  I sure do.  It was the best surprise. 

Day 83: I think I can... I think I can...

Another food post... I was really excited, more like ecstatic, when I got a bread machine at my bridal shower last year.  I have always wanted one.  I just love a good carb.  Well, since we've been married, I have made bread over and over... and over.  And it has turned out GROSS every time.  It always tricks me because it smells so good and I look inside and see one of three options: 1) the bread is burned, 2) the bread is deflated, and/or 3) it is HARD as a rock (I guess I don't see that but you get the point).   

Anyway, I read reviews of the bread machine and people either love it or hate it.  One reviewer said that people who gave it bad reviews probably didn't start with reading the instructions.  So, I took out the instructions manual and read the whole thing.  I was not going to let the bread machine defeat me.  Anyway, turns out I was being somewhat careless in making the bread.  Apparently you aren't supposed to use warm water but room temp water and you aren't supposed to let the yeast touch the water.  I was just dumping it all in there.  Anyway, TADA! I made BREAD! Real bread.  Edible bread.  And it was delish.  I'm so proud.  Go me!

Day 77: Warm Bed

This bed is warm.  The sheets are AMAZING.  I hate getting out of it every morning.

Day 73: So Fresh and So Clean

Assignment: Make a photograph today that illustrates the idea of freshness to you.


Nothing is more reFRESHing than a nice, hot shower.  And that is just what I needed today.  I've got a sore throat and a cold that won't go away.  Nothing ends the day better than a shower, clean towels and a robe.
