Day 151: Baby Audrey

This is Baby Audrey.  She was born on Sunday.  And I love her!!! Look at her tiny little hands. 

This is as good as I could do with a camera phone. 

Day 150: I love Pilots

Birds of a feather flock together... and so do Pilots.  Look at the 4 Pilots in a row... 3 in fronts and us behind them.

Day 145: Storm's a Comin'

I have no idea what the assignment is today because I was so busy worrying about the Tornado Watches and Tornado Warnings.  It doesn't really look like it, but the wind was blowing like crazy right before the storm rolled in.

Day 144: Cleanliness

A clean bathroom is a happy bathroom.  Happy cleaning to me!

Day 142: Strawberry Fields Forever

Do these look like heaven to you? Because they were.  Jonny and I made 200 of these today.  Absolutely delicious!

I was actually hoping the lake would be more glassy.  It was a beautiful day at the Lake and I couldn't resist taking photos down by the shore.

I cut my thumb today.  Dropped a knife through my fingers.  Had to get three stitches.  Didn't have the guts to look at it.  Here's my wound covered up.

Day 127: I Love to See the Temple

I forgot my photo of the day.  But, May 7th was of Stake Youth Temple Trip.  It reminded me of the day I went through the temple for the first time a few years ago in Rexburg.  Here's a picture of that day!

Day 126: JB Time

We had games night again... so FUN! I actually did not take this picture but I told Jonny to take it for me so I could count it for my photo of the day.  That's right... Josh's shirt matches his broom.  Hilarious!

Day 125: Cinco de Mayo

Not that I need an excuse to eat Mexican (I'd eat it every day), but I try to always make a nice Mexican dish on Cinco de Mayo.  It's one of my favorite holidays because I am obsessed with Mexican food.  Anyway, on tonight's menu: tacos, beans and black bean rice.  I miss my Mexican guacamole from Cabo.  

Day 124: Layers

Assignment: Make a photograph that is composed of several layers today. 

So, my high school friends can attest to this... I am BIG on layering and I always have been.  Here is my outfit today.  A black lace-lined T-shirt, followed by a Forever 21 black polka dotted T-shirt, with a grey grandpa sweater to top it off.  I'm into the layers. 

Day 123: Ducks at the Pond

While I was running, I saw this family of ducks crossing the pond.  I ran in to get my camera and by the time I got back they were on the other side.  Oh well! I don't know why I am so obsessed with these silly ducks and birds, but it is fun living my the water and interesting to look at.  Anyway, you can see the little ducklings eating to the right.  CUTE! (Not really-- they are actually really mangy looking).  

Day 122: Celebrate!

I got some good news today which I will share at a later date when I get more details.  But we celebrated with Devil's Food cupcakes and Rainbow Chip frosting (which we found at Mejier after 2 unsuccessful tries at Target and Walmart).  And, no, I am not pregnant... that is not the news. 

Day 121: Cornfields in the Springtime

Assignment: Make a photograph that illustrates an aspect of local culture today. 

We live amid cornfields.  This is what they look like on a lovely May Day in the rain.
